Meet the Team

Dr Jonathan Clarke
Chiropractor

Dr Jon, originally from Saltash, graduated as ‘Student of the Year’ from the  Anglo-European  College of Chiropractic after 4 years training as a Chiropractor. Prior to this he studied Biomedical Sciences in Bristol, but is pleased to be able to return to his home town to practice.
Since graduating Dr Jon has spent 3 years practicing in a prestigious chiropractic clinic in Plymouth, but set his sights on owning and running his own Chiropractic clinic in Saltash.
Dr Jon has worked, in the past, with under privileged children and relishes the opportunity to work with a number of the charities in the local area over the coming years.
Although Chiropractic is an important part of Dr Jon’s life, you will also find him ‘treading the boards’ in the Athanaeum theatre in both musicals and panto’s performing with the Wrangler’s Theatre Company. As a keen musician, singing and playing the piano, don’t expect a shy, retiring individual.

Marlaine Clarke
Practice Manager

As Dr Jon’s mum, Marlaine has been instrumental in the development of Saltash   Chiropractic Clinic and has provided support and guidance at every stage. Prior to becoming involved with the clinic, Marlaine worked as a City Coordinator for adult learning across Devon and Cornwall, but left after 20 years to pursue her desire to be a Foster Carer. Working as the Practice Manager has rekindled her desire to work with the public, and allows her to put her well developed skills back into practice. As a patient herself, Marlaine fully understands the philosophy of chiropractic and is pleased to be able to bring this philosophy to our patients.

In addition to her role within the Practice, Marlaine has many interests including active membership of the Saltash Floral Art Club, enjoying her grandmother and foster carer roles as well as finding time to run her own successful practice of colour consultancy ’Colour & You’.
